In the aftermath of a natural disaster, or when providing critical assistance to those in need, emergency and aid personnel need to focus on the mission — not on the challenges of remote communications. M:Guardian was designed to provide first responders and remote workers fully autonomous, extremely reliable and cost-efficient voice and secure data connectivity anywhere in the world. Highly rugged and able to operate on multiple power sources or standalone for extended periods of time, M:Guardian delivers sustained phone communications via PSTN and/or private telephone networks, and secure data connectivity to private networks and the Internet.
M:Guardian saves money like no other. M:Guardian is the only baseband emergency communications solution that can be programmed to automatically find the lowest cost network available. Cellular, wireless, or satellite – M:Guardian will connect while continuing to seek lower cost networks, seamlessly switching to get the best price without compromising service. This feature could save thousands of dollars in satellite services.
First responders are communicating via satellite in a disaster area when The National Guard arrives in the area and provides a WiFi hotspot. Because the first responders are using M:Guardian, the availability of the new hotspot is detected and automatically switches communications from satellite service to the less expensive WiFi.
MissionMobility technology is deployed in thousands of ruggedized systems operating around the world and without fail in the harshest operating conditions – in sand storms, in ice storms, in the heat of the desert and on frigid mountain tops.
A hurricane hits the coast with 100mph winds and driving rain. Emergency personnel call for transport of a seriously injured citizen. The M:Guardian they use to make the call is the only portable communications system that does not require a VoIP registration process - that can cause the line to drop frequently. A hardened telecommunications facility with redundant and diversely routed power and phone connections, along with tough, waterproof phones allow the team to quickly get the injured citizen the help he desperately needs.
No infrastructure? No Problem. M:Guardian's innovative power management system accepts power from cigarette lighters, vehicle batteries, solar blankets, external batteries and even a standard wall outlet. All adapters, and a solar blanket are included. M: Guardian operates at full capacity for up to 14 hours running only on the solar blanket. The unit charges during operation for uninterrupted performance.
Need access to your secure, private network from the field? M:Guardian supports IPSEC VPN tunneling and can be set up to securely operate through a private data or voice network. Mission:Mobility's certified network engineers are available to assist with implementation.
In a matter of minutes, M:Guardian is set up and accessing phone and data networks via M:Guardian's Managed Network Service.
M:Guardian phones operate just like an office or home phone. No matter how you connect (satellite, cellular, WiFi, etc), your phone numbers are always the same allowing numbers to be distributed in phone directories. The toll free number rolls to all four phone numbers in the order specified. Hunt groups and push-to-talk features can also be set up on the phones.
Emergencies don't take vacations, and neither do we. M:Guardian is backed up by a 24 hour, 365 day per year manned Network Operations Center with service engineers who are always available to provide assistance. Operator and Train-the-Trainer services are also available. Typically, the short training video is all that is needed to set up and operate the system, but we are here to help just in case.
